What to know before you go

Is Venus Viva safe for all skin tones? Yes, unlike other skin resurfacing treatments, Venus Viva is safe for all ethnicities.

Is there downtime after treatments? Most people experience very mild redness and skin sensitivity after a Venus Viva™ session. However, you will be able to return to your regular skincare routine within 48-72 hours of treatment.

How many sessions will I need? The number of sessions needed will depend on the individual client/skin condition. Most clients notice desired results after 4 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart.

How long is each session? An average Venus Viva™ session lasts between 15-30 minutes.

Treatment

Stretch marks are the result of isolated areas of skin damage. Extreme skin growth or shrinkage can cause stretch marks. As the body grows, the connecting fibers in the dermis slowly stretch to accommodate slow growth. However, rapid growth leads to sudden stretching. This causes the dermis to tear, allowing deeper layers of skin to show through. This can form stretch marks and contributes to the way they look. Causes of skin stretching:
