TENEX™ tenotomy is a minimally invasive treatment for chronic scarring and calcification of tendons and ligaments. Its unique benefits include rapid recovery and pain relief.

TREATMENT

TENEX™ needle tool is guided into the damaged area under ultrasound. The tool is activated by a compressor that creates rapid vibration of the needle and propels a high-pressure jet of water in the treatment area that is then suctioned out. The result is that the scar tissue is broken up gently with vibration and water and removed from the region through suction.

SAFETY

In 10,000 cases studied at the Mayo Clinic, the complication rate was less than 1%.
