While you relax in the treatment chair, your provider cleans the skin under your arms with an antiseptic agent and injects a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort. They also inject a saline solution under the skin, lifting the sweat glands away from any underlying nerves.

They place the miraDry handpiece on your skin, which uses a vacuum that gently pulls your skin into the applicator. Then, they activate the thermal energy. It takes about 90 minutes to treat both underarms.
